If your bike trip on the GAP Trail calls for an overnight stay, consider The Inn at Lenora's. We are conveniently located about a day's ride between the Pittsburgh/Homestead and Ohio Pyle/Confluence trailheads. You will find the Inn a comfortable rest stop just 3/4 mile from the Layton trailhead in Perryopolis. (Please see detailed directions below.)

Directions for Hikers & Bikers
Lenora's is located approximately one mile from the Layton Trailhead of the Great Allegheny Passage ("GAP Trail"). 1. Head southwest on Layton Rd for 1.0 mile. 2. Turn left onto Columbia St for 0.2 miles. 3. Turn right onto Liberty St. Destination will be on the left after 82 ft. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION entering Layton Road. The tunnel is a blind corner. Turn left onto Layton Road. Proceed one mile to where Layton Road dead ends into a "Y". Take the left fork onto Columbia Street. Travel 0.2 miles to Lenora's at the corner of Columbia and Liberty Streets. |
Look for the "Layton Tunnel" sign near the 102 mile marker. The sign is directly under the Layton Bridge. Turn into the gravel parking lot adjacent to the bridge. Exit the parking lot and turn right to the stop sign at the Layton Tunnel.
